Here are a few from a recent engagement session with Sue and Saagar – friends of recent clients Angela and Anthony – now, new friends of ours. We decided to head over to Sayen Gardens, a quaint park in Hamilton with plenty of shooting locations. Unfortunately, so did about a million other people – there were at least 4 weddings going on that we counted. Needless to say, some of the best locations were taken, but we managed to sneak around and get some snaps in ourselves.

This weekend we were back at it again with the wonderful Q & M. Grounds for Sculpture has been a popular location this year, but once you are there you can see why. There are lots of little nooks and crannies to explore, and apparently at least one hammock hidden away in tall hedgerows. Seemed like a good location for a photo, until we saw the sleeping musician who beat us to it – I kid you not.

Valerie and Asad recently experienced the same good fortune (?) as Jessica and me. They had twins; twin boys to be exact, and that makes three boys overall. I see lots of soccer practices and chauffeured trips to the mall in their future.

Jessica and I were happy to visit and snap a few shots of the growing family. And now, on to – as James T. Kirk would put it – Khaan!

You may remember Angela and Anthony from their engagement shoot not too long ago. Last Saturday they tied the knot, and Jessica and I were there to capture the the event as it went down. These guys are sailing around the Caribbean somewhere as I type this, while I, on the other hand, put together two toddler beds last night. Naa..not jealous at all.

July is moving right along, and this weekend was a fun one. Jessica and I met up with fellow high-school sweethearts Connie an Matt for their engagement session on the beach/boardwalk in Ocean City.We were able to avoid most of the throngs of vacationers looking for funnel cakes and ice cream by getting out there nice and early…like sunrise early. Amazing how few people are on the scene at 5am..then again, maybe its not.

We enjoyed ourselves immensely, and are really looking forward to Connie and Matt’s wedding in August. Keep an eye out –

Hopefully everyone gave Uncle Sam a b’day party he won’t forget this weekend. Mine involved subways, trains, and long car trips, but it was all worth it – as the Yankees won, and now I’m enjoying some R&R. Working off the laptop this week, so Ill keep things short, as it takes forever to do anything on this machine.

Before I left I was honored to photograph the wedding of Denise and Dan at Glen Foerd Mansion – a really wonderful old behemoth of an estate in or around Bensalem PA. The ceremony was held outdoors right along the Deleware, and a laser light show broke out at the reception – pretty cool if you ask me. Enjoy the images, and if you do like them please leave a comment. Brides and Grooms always like hearing how fabulous they look!

Kim & Chris | Princeton, NJ

Saturday saw Jess and I take on the heat at home here in central NJ. Kim and Chris’ wedding marked our first trip to the Princeton Mountain Lakes House, and it probably won’t be our last. Everyone did a terrific job, but I must say the food – catered by Emily’s Cafe – was fantastic. Short and sweet today, as we’re still recovering from the heat and I need some fluids and some sleep…in that order.

Tell me these aren’t some cool cameras. I’d love to see some of the pictures he took.
The officiant was also a musician, and played this small guitar-like instrument – the name of which I can’t remember at the moment.

Grounds for Sculpture is an interesting place to visit here in central NJ, especially if you’re into the arts. Its full of tremendous artworks and rife with great places to shoot. I was lucky enough to spend some time there this week with Angela and Anthony for their engagement session. I find something new each time I visit the grounds (check out that flower below), and lucky me – Ill be going back to shoot A&A’s wedding there this summer.

Unfortunately, mother nature didn’t feel like cooperating for us, but we were able to take some nice images before the skies opened up. We figured it would be a good idea to put some distance between us and the 12 foot tall metallic modern art until the lightning subsided. Incidentally, if anyone knows what the heck this flower is below – drop me a line!
